Creative Independent Living Solutions – About Us

Creative Independent Living Solutions, Inc. (CILS) is a family owned and operated company, located in the Central Ohio Area.  The company was conceived in 2002 with the intent to provide quality workmanship to elderly and handicap individuals.  The President, Thomas Stratford, has worked for several government agencies providing handicap accessibility services.  While managing these programs, it became evident that the need existed for contractors who not only provided skill but passion for the clients we serve.

Thomas Stratford is a licensed general contractor with over 25 years experience in home construction, remodeling and ADA compliance modifications. He manages his company on the foundation of honesty and trust; and incorporates his passion into each project. His family, employees, crew’s and sub-contractors understand his commitment to quality and his passion for the client’s they serve.

Thomas’s partner in business and life is his wife Margo.  Margo utilizes her RN nursing and case management background and her experience in business administration to manage the office and contracts.  A life long career in meeting the needs of the elderly and ill, provide her with the insight necessary to meet the needs of each client.  Her expertise is managing the companies’ web site, including social marketing.  Be sure to check our website and/or Facebook page frequently as Margo updates with new and useful information in regards to ADA specifications and helpful hints to maintain physical independence.

It is our belief that freedom and independence is a God given right and no one should be a prisoner in their own home, regardless of their limitations.  Our hope is that each individual contracting with CILS will find it a positive, life changing experience.
